Together We Read: Family Book Club

Goal:
To bring families together around a shared reading experience where parents/guardians and children (ideally ages 6–12) read a book at home over several weeks, then come together for a fun, discussion-based celebration meeting that includes themed games, crafts, snacks, and more. 

At the final meeting:

• Book Discussion Time (15–20 mins): Age-appropriate questions for families to discuss together at their tables or in small groups.

• Games or Trivia (15 mins): Related to book characters, plot, or setting.

• Craft or Activity (15–20 mins): Something themed around the book.

• Snacks (15 mins): On-theme or family-friendly treats.

• Photo Op or Take-Home Favor: A themed bookmark or small prize.
