Seven local ice cream shops have come together to form the Tennessee Scoop Loop, the ultimate tasty trip. You can pick up a passport at any place you want to start your ice cream journey and turn in your completed passport at your last stop. Each one of Athens delicious stops have something unique to offer!
Not all ice cream has to be scooped, you can have it rolled or blended!
Small's Drive-In is known for its great burgers and after you have one of those, you might not be able to handle a scoop of ice cream but sipping on a milkshake afterwards will complete that perfect meal. Maddi Mae's Cafe has perfected their local, rolled ice cream using Mayfield Dairy Farm milk which is crafted to order!
Every stop has a dine in or carry out option!
Trying out the scoop loop doesn't mean you have to stay and sit down at every location but you can or you can grab it on the way to your next adventure.
