Grandma's Gingerbread Bakery opened their doors right before the Pumpkintown Festival in Historic Downtown Athens and have been hitting the ground running ever since. The owners retired to Athens and delighted the community by participating in the local farmers market and festivals. The opportunity arose to open a downtown bakery and they did that and more! Grandma's Gingerbread Bakery is now open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner- highly recommend the Apple and Brie Grilled Cheese and Fried Green Tomatoes!
The bakery has a great vibe and cozy atmosphere that makes you feel at home. Tons of baked goods to choose from as well as specialty coffees. The menu is tastefully curated so every dish is unique.
