A Snowy Old-Fashioned Downtown Christmas in Historic Downtown Athens
Friday, November 17, 2023, Historic Downtown Athens was rumbling with excited cheers and carols. Children were in awe playing in the snow, while parents were keeping warm with a cup of specialty hot chocolate available from amazing local vendors. Local youth dancers stared on stages with their beautifully rehearsed performances up until the time when Santa and his helpers came to spread their Christmas magic to light the Christmas Tree.
The Holly House
The Holly House in Dogwood Hollow brought the delightful smells of their Christmas Tree Farm to Historic Downtown Athens hosting their Christmas Trees, everGREENS, and family fun. Walking under the twinkling lights and through the trees made you feel like you were in your own hallmark movie.
The True Spirit of Christmas was definitely in the atmosphere in Athens.
